  april adventures!

  alrighty!

  as mentioned on my previous entry, instead of going to David Archuleta's showcase in Sunway...my friends and i went to Shah Alam, Taman Pertanian Malaysia (Agricultural Park) Bukit Cahaya Seri Alam...

  one mention of that name, most people would then think when was their last time at the park...as i try to remember, an image of 10/11 year-old me comes to mind as i was there on a camping trip organised by a children magazine...that's a long time!

  so, what made me return back there after all these years? one word. SKYTREX!

  it's another side of the park, if you will...where you can have adventures from all the challenges around the skytrex area where you can climb up and down, hanging on tree tops like monkeys (haha!), walking on planks high above the ground, flying fox and so much more...of course, all these are done with safety in mind!

  we all had to wear harnesses, have carabiners and pulley attached to the safety cables most of the time before attaching them to the cable as you embark on the next challenges! up til now i am still amazed at myself for having to finished the 'Big Thrill' course and i must say...it'll be something i will remember for all time...now there's talk from my friend about going on to the 'Extreme' course once they have complete building it!...hmmm...i might take up on the challenge once i get myself fit (!) so i can fully complete it all...and won't have to go through the 'chicken' trail! hahah...

  after all that, everyone was feeling all these soreness on their bodies later that night, the next day and few more days after that...haha...goes to show you that we aren't really fit and might have strained our bodies to the max going through the challenges but IT WAS WORTH IT!

  oh! before i forget, when we arrived at skytrex...guess who did I met? of all places, i met with kookycookie and toots (fellow bloggers here on xanga!) who already completed with the challenges and were about to leave...i guess since i post lotsa pics of myself they were able to recognise me and said hello...thanks ladies!

  and on monday the 20th, my sister graduated with honours...for her bachelors degree in investment from my old alma mater, MSU (back then it was known as KUTPM)...i had taken a day off just to rest at home but it turned out it was same day as her graduation, so i tagged along with mom and dad...i was just so happy for her...

  well, that's about it for my adventures in april...been pretty busy with preparations for manila...hoping it all goes very smoothly and that i have everything on top of my head...can't wait!
