  Joyous June...

  hey everyone,

  hope you guys are doing good, wherever you are...

  i am sure you guys been wondering how i've been now that i'm in Manila...well, of course I am fine! trying my best not to miss all the food i can eat in malaysia hahaha...

  seriously, everything is an adventure since this would be my first time being in the Philippines. from the flight - it was bumpy! and damn cold! - to getting to the hotel and especially conducting training! i have trained few people in the course of my career but this was something else. classroom training was a bit nerve-wrecking but since i have the knowledge...i think it kinda went pretty smoothly. of course, there is always room to improve in the future.

  the Filipinos here are pretty friendly and have been very kind...to be honest, the team here in Manila is pretty much the same make up as my team back in KL and it is kinda scary...but it was such a good thing to have as it made me feel more welcome and more at ease with them. we joke around, we laughed, we talked (well they mostly ask lots of personal matters...apparently if they feel comfortable with you, they will ask and share personal details with you...that is how friendly and welcoming they are! - it totally took me by surprise!)...and yea they love to sing! hahah...they've been coaxing me to sing but i said to them, in good times...hahah...the thing is, i would normally sing or humm around people i am comfortable with and usually at my work station and not in front of public or karaoke-ing! so we'll see how this will turn out...

  i kinda have to go now as we have system testing before the actual work training starts next week...until then, feel free to browse my pictures on facebook or here!
